Family Trip to Phuket

This a very long overdue entry which I have been putting off & off & off......

Anyhow, Daddy & I brought the girls on their 1st trip on a plane on 10 May. It was meant to be a celebration for YW's 4th birthday (sure hope she remembers). We took off to Phuket for 4 days, 3 nights and sure had fun there!

There, we stayed the fabulous JW Marriot which is situated on an unspoilt stretch of white sandy beach. The beach is protected as turtles come in to lay their eggs during some months of the year. It is so quiet and beautiful..quite unlike Patong with all the water sports and sun bathers. The service is absolutely wonderful and I'm happiest with the very good deal that we had for the room rate. : )

The girls loved the hotel's pool and kid's club best. The Kid's Club was a must go for them everyday. There, YQ & YW took part in daily art & craft sessions (some free, some paid) and had brought home some pretty souveneirs. See the t-shirts that the 2 girls wore in the picture...they batik painted those (ok, mummy paid for that activity). The pool was another place where they spent many hours in....never got enough of that and the bath-tub (like a mini pool for them) in the room.

What's a trip to phuket without a visit to James Bond Island, right?! So we took a boat ride to see the famous island. Yx looked so cute in the life vest....hahaha! We enjoyed the ride immensely.

4 days seemed to fly past and soon we were headed home with plenty of photos to show. (Too many to upload here. Will try to select a few good ones)

The girls had a wonderful time and mummy & daddy were tired but happy that it was a trip we all enjoyed. Will be saving up for our next trip........
