My Darlings....
Work has been busy and life's hectic. The girls drive me crazy sometimes with their mischieve. But they also bring me joy and pride. They are the love of my life (mushy bit true ;>) and they are what all the hardwork and sacrifices are for....They are my darlings!

Celebration....Yuqi's 5th Birthday!

Yuqi has been counting down to her birthday...more for the presents than anything else, I suspect.

I Invited, ah yi, 2nd grandaunt and family over for dinner and to have a small celebration for Yuqi. She was very happy almost to the point of being hyper. Our little princess has indeed grown up. She knows how to enjoy her birthday now.

The Presents! In all, she received a necklace (mummy), swimsuit (daddy), barbie doll set (auntie michelle and sin yee), monopoly (ah yi), topple game (pohpoh)and ang paos (various grandaunts).

Celebration....Daddy's Birthday

Daddy and Yuqi share the same birth date 21 Aug....Yuqi is 5 and Daddy is "ahem" (hint: count the candles).....

Since they share the same birthday, calebration will naturally be more for Yuqi than Daddy. To make up for it, I secretly organised a mahjong session at our place (on the 20th) for daddy. Auntie Michelle brought over a cake meant for Daddy....but it still ended up as a cake for Yuqi as well (since Yuqi was all excited that it was daddy and her birthday)....It was also very sweet of Michelle to buy the party hats (princess hats..so you know who it was meant for) and some party poppers for the occasion.

Anyway, Daddy enjoyed the mahjong more than the cake, so overall it still a Happy Birthday!
