There was a CNY celebration at the girl's school, and YQ had been assigned to do the lion dance, the lion head, actually.....She also had to form the word ji using oranges.

She did a great job and we are proud of her!!

Welcome! Year of the Dog.

The new year is here. Preparation had been hectic and a mad rush, with Christmas and New Year less than a month apart. Nontheless, CNY is always a joyous occassion with lots of feastings, catching up with relatives/friends, a legitimate excuse to update your wardrobe & throw out old items and a season of sharing with the less fortunate. For children it's the endless collection of ang baos and CNY goodies to stuff themselves with.

This year's new year is definitely a much better one for except that nai nai's been down with some illness. But above all, we've had some great fun over the 15 days of celebration.
