Racial Harmony Day @ school

It was Racial Harmony Day on Thursday. Yuqi and Yuwen were suppose to go to school in traditional costume of any race. Just for fun, mummy decided to dress them in the Malay kebaya. We shopped for the dresses at Joo Chiat and were lucky to find something similar for both of them. On top of that, these were not too expensive (some cost as much as $90 per set!)...

And both of they looked very Fatimah in the dresses! Think they were the minority in school who did not wear a Chinese costume (almost all the students there are Chinese).

They sure had fun! Yuwen loved her dress, even though she had refused to try it on at the shop...she had refused to take it off after school......
